The streets of Dallington have a number of interesting things that catch the eye, or interesting places you may like to check out.  Some will endure others may not, but they can be recorded here.

Burwood Park Fitness Trail

The Burwood Park Fitness Trail was officially opened on 4 May 2018, at Burwood Park South (on Cresswell Avenue). Around 60 members of the Dallington Community joined with the Dallington Community Cottage Trust, Coastal-Burwood Community Board members, CCC staff and other residents associations and groups to officially welcome the adult outdoor gym equipment to their community.

ECCC Inc

The Educational Child Care Centre was established in 1978 by a group of high school teachers who had a vision of quality childcare and education for their children.

A not for profit community based centre run by a committee and a dedicated teaching team was established. In 35 years the families and teachers have changed but the principles remain the same.

St Pauls Tree

A place to stop, sit and contemplate.

This iconic tree is important to the St Paul's community and to Dallington as a whole.

To me it represents a tangible link to our past, to the many thousands of people in our community who spent parts of their lives on this site, learning, celebrating and spending time together.

It remains to anchor our memories when the bricks and mortar of buildings cannot.
